Pastured Poultry

Responding to your requests, we are now offering pasture raised chickens and turkeys! These feathered fellows are raised in the brooder until three weeks of age, when they will be big enough to move into their 'Chicken Tractors*.' These are portable cages that provide shelter, protection from predators, and access to grass and delicious bugs! This produces wonderfully tender, juicy, and healthy meat!

For our local customers, we have fabulous, free-range eggs! Our layers live out on pasture with the beef cattle in their custom built, portable 'Eggmobile*.' The hens run loose throughout the day, free to forage in the lush pastures.

Chickens will be available on specific dates throughout the summer and fall, and turkeys will be ready for Thanksgiving. At the specified times, we require buyers to pick up their chickens at the farm - sorry, no delivery. This is due to state and federal regulations, but gives you a great excuse to take a beautiful drive into the country to visit the farm!
